Beacon Backstop Wall System
This is really how walls, netting and padding should work. The typical concrete or brick backstop is expensive and uses heavy pads that eventually warp. This backstop system fixes that. Here’s how it works: poles are set, treated planks are added using slide-over post brackets, and the lightweight wood-less no-warp pads are secured. It’s a cost-effective solution that includes a solid 3 foot high wall constructed with galvanized steel posts, powder-coated slide-over brackets, and 2″ x 12″ treated lumber planks. We’ve also designed in attachment points for your backstop netting and for a backside banner. Just add the Woodless Backstop Pads and you have the perfect backstop solution. The modular design allows for total flexibility with sizing, and it’s designed for all levels of play.
Beacon Engineered Tie-Back Net Backstop Systems
A backstop that’s truly for the fans. Minimize or eliminate sightline obstructions to give your fans a perfect view, while also keeping them safe from stray balls. Off-set poles deliver an unmatched spectator experience, so that your fans won’t miss any of the action. The tie-back net backstop systems can be integrated with any type of base wall, even radial layouts. Tie-back netting gives you simplified installation, simplified raising & tensioning, and simplified off-season net removal, so that the process is as streamlined and easy as possible to install and maintain. Beacon Engineered In-Line Net Backstop Systems
Just like the above backstop system, the Beacon Engineered In-Line Net Backstop System is for the fans as well. It will also keep them safe from stay balls, and give them a non-obstructed view of all the action, so that they don’t miss a thing. Instead of a Tie-Back system to keep the netting int place, this backstop system stays in place with the help of four poles to deliver a safe, proven solution. Engineered designs and proprietary tensioning hardware allow your netting to be raised and lowered from the ground, or supported by a permanent cable grid. Portable Barrier Net System
Protection when and where you need it, temporarily, at home or on the go! When permanent or sleeved poles are not possible, this temporary freestanding backup netting is the perfect way to protect adjoining fields, parking lots, and spectator areas. Beacon Woodless Backstop Pads
Common plywood-backed pads that are used outdoors do not usually hold up (they warp, crack, etc.). Mounting them is time consuming, difficult work. They’re heavy and hard to move & store, so they are often left out year round, shortening the life of the pads. That’s why this backstop padding are so revolutionary. Beacon Woodless Backstop Padding is 85% lighter, making them way easier to remove for the off season and keeping them warp-free without the typical built-in wood backing. Dugout Net Kit
Add protection to your dugouts with the do-it-yourself Dugout Net Kit. These high-quality net panels are 4 feet tall x 50 feet long, but the special Lock Stitch design allows them to be cut to any size. Choose between 4 feet and 6 feet high Dugout Net Kits. Each kit includes lacing twine. Padding is sold separately (see “Rail Padding Kit” below).
Rail Padding Kit
Beacon Rail & Post Padding protects players and dresses up your ballfield all in one product. It’s available as a complete kit: seven 4 foot sections of 1″ padding with 2″ ID, a 29 foot roll of vinyl cover, and 50 cable ties. Individual sections also available for purchase. The padding is 1″ thick, with 2″ ID. Dugout netting is not included (see “Dugout Net Kit” above). Standard colors are green or black. Available in black, maple green, spruce green, navy, red, blue, and custom colors. Custom printing available.
Bucket of Hardware Closures, Snaps and Quick Links
In order to hang nets, banners, or other connection needs, you’ll need snap hooks or bit snaps. Why depend on weak closures, when you can get closures that are made with the same high-quality standards as the nets you use? That’s exactly what you’ll get when you purchase these closures, snaps, and quick links. These aren’t just for hanging nets, banners, etc., you can also use quick links to connect tow chains or hardware to backstops, proving that these are no ordinary closures.
Net Repair Kit
Accidents happen, and in order to keep games flowing smoothly, it’s best to be ready for anything that comes your way. This kit helps to repair rips, tears, and holes that may happen during game play. It includes a 5 foot by 5 foot net panel with 1-7/8″ mesh, a needle with Tarred Cord, and repair instructions. It also comes in a handy Beacon pail, so that everything can be conveniently stored in one place.
Net Repair Needle
Don’t need a full repair kit or need to replace the needle for net repairs? We’ve got you covered! Now, you can buy the needle on its own, so there’s no need to buy an entire net repair kit all over again. You can use this Net Repair Needle for making net mesh repairs using thin Tarred Cord. Shown here with and without thread (see “Thin Tarred Cord” below). This product is sold as a single needle without thread.
Tenex Rope
This 3/8″ rope (bottom rope in the picture) is very strong and has a limited stretch that works perfectly as a lifting halyard for larger netting systems, such as Barrier Nets and removable backstops. The 1/4″ rope (top rope in the picture) is another versatile rope with very low stretch. This rope works perfectly for top cables of netting, like the Tensioned Phantom™ Gym Divider. You can order this rope by the foot, with a 100 foot minimum purchase.
Thin Tarred Cord
Don’t need a full repair kit or need to replace the thin Tarred Cord for net repairs? We’ve got you covered! Now, you can buy the thin Tarred Cord on its own, so there’s no need to buy an entire net repair kit all over again. You can use it along with the Net Repair Needle to repair holes in the mesh portion of protective netting. Net Repair Needle sold separately (see “Net Repair Needle” above). Comes in a 1,296 foot spool.
